Got very interested in particular in Elite Dangerous, Bus/truck sims and train sims.SAE J1939 ECU Programming & Vehicle Bus Simulation with Arduino - Microchip MCP2515 CAN Bus Controller. I am a sim lover, and recently I did put aside flight sims in favor of space sims and "land" sims. Bus 2018 Controller How To Set The

Not sure how to set the toggle switches since when I turn them on, they stay on, like you would expect from a landing gear control or an engine control, although the signal continue to stay high which result in the button associated to that switch, to continue to be pressed. For the lever, I have no clue how to do that saw some joystick on Ebay, which are used for industrial machinery they look like a 4 way joystick (with pots on X and Y axis), which may be useful, although being industrial components, they may have resistors made to sustain high voltage current while the Teensy is using 5V from USB as power source, and as output use 3.3V if I recall correctly so it may not work as expected. Got buttons, and some toggle switch with spring, so they go back to the center position (off), although I want to add also the following- Few toggle switch the kind with the cover on it, used in flight simulators for example.- a lever control or potentiometers, especially useful for Train simulator 18/ TSW to simulate the lever for brake and throttle.- Rotary encoder also useful for Train sim, to set forward/neutral/reverse direction, or in driving games, to set the gear (for a bus for example, which has only few gears, beside neutral and reverse).I was able to hook up the momentary buttons, although would like to get some guidance from the fellow DIY that did make their own panels, to learn how do you connect them, and how do you actually write the sketch to use these controls. With the rotary encoder, my understanding is that each notch is a connection while for the pot, it goes on the analog IO pin. Obviously a lot of different play styles, but I would like to make a box as generic as possible.
